Ryan Starr is a female song writer, singer and an actress born in America. She was born on 21st November 1982 in California in Sunland. She is an artist who is specialized in Rock genre. She took part in one of America’s famous TV series “The American Idol”. In that competition Simon Cowell said that he didn’t want to be tough on her but he said that that girl was too shy. But at the same time another judge, Paula Abdul, said that she had a belief that this girl showcased some potential and promised that she would become a star one day. Ryan preferred to sing only rock songs during the event when others contestants chose to sing pop songs. She did well in that competition and came to the last rounds and finished at 7th position overall. After that Ryan Starr has appeared in many TV reality shows, TV series and a few movies too. After show in the American idol, she signed a two year contract with RCA records. By the this contract has ended Ryan decided to release single song “My Religion” which was exclusively meant for iTunes and soon after she released that song.
That number became very popular among youth and it was ranked number 1 in the US Billboard Hot Digital single Songs chart. This was mentioned in the 2005 Guinness book of records for being a massive hit and for being the most downloads for singles in the history of iTunes. It was ranked within the top 10 in iTunes in the countries like UK, Russia and Ireland. It entered in top 50 in iTunes France and in the top 20 in iTunes Italy. According to the USA Today and MTV it sold over 360000 units around the world. Now coming to her film and television career after her success in the American Idol show she made a surprise guest appearance in the “That 70’s show” in the Fox Television. Again she made a guest appearance in the show CSI crime scene investigation. Then after that in the film “Ring of darkness” she had the leading role. She also participated in the reality show “The Surreal Life” conducted by the VH1 channel.
But during the program she burst into tears many because of activities like a male had stripped in front of her, asking her to sing pop instead of rock and they even asked her to take part in a ghost hunt. And due to this she became ill many times and was dejected. She stared in another reality show conducted by the Fox television and had to compete with celebrities like AJ Benza and Kato Kaelin. But Starr eliminated from that show after the second round for which Starr regretted so much. Coming to the personal life of Starr she has openly said to interviews that she had a troubled past and she has separated from most of her family members. She also has kept quiet on expressing anything regarding her love life.
